Karen F. Summers, age 69, of Florence Twp., died Thursday November 3, 2011 at her home. She was born on June 27, 1942 in Elyria, and has lived in Florence Twp. for 46 years. She was a 1960 graduate of Vermilion High School. She was a homemaker who loved to fish, garden, and entertain family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years John, two children, Cindy Summers, of Wakeman and Don Summers, of Wakeman, a grandson Kurt Summers, a great-granddaughter Kayla Summers, two sisters Peggy (Ron) Tucker, of Vermilion, Carol (Chuck) Groff, of Odessa, TX, a brother John (Donna) Markwood, of Vermilion, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Kohler and Anna (Waldron) Sprankle, and two brothers Vernon and Norman Morelock.
