Virginia "Ginny" Buchs, age 88, of Henrietta Twp. passed away on May 2, 2013 at Mill Manor Nursing Home in Vermilion surrounded by her family. She was born on February 25, 1925 in Brownhelm and has lived in the Henrietta area her entire life. She was a 1943 graduate of Brownhelm High School. Ginny had worked for over ten years as a Title Clerk at Sliman Dodge in Amherst. She had also worked as a Nurse's Aide at Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin in the late 1940's. She was an active member of the Henrietta United Methodist Church, helping out with their pumpkin roll fundraiser and booth at the fair among many other church activities. She was also a member of the Farm Bureau, Grange, and Eastern Star. Ginny and her entire family spent a year in Lebanon as a part of the C.R.O.P. and Church World Service. Ginny enjoyed camping, canoeing, and skiing with family and friends. Ginny enjoyed attending all activities and sports events for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Dawn Cornwell, of Henrietta Twp., Timothy K. (Ann) Buchs, of Henrietta Twp., Terry (Colleen) Buchs, of Florence Twp., seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sisters Dorothea (Al) Dreschler, Santa Barbara, CA, Sarah Rollin, of Huntington, OH, brothers Rol (Shirley) Angersbach, of Henrietta Twp., John (Jan) Angersbach, of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Keith, her parents Walter and Marie (Peck) Angersbach, a brother Howard Angersbach, and a sister Frances Buchs.
Friends may call on Sunday May 5, from 2:00 to 5:00 at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Services will be held on Monday May 6, at 11:00 am at the Henrietta United Methodist Church, 52148 St. Rt. 113. Pastor Armando Arellano will be officiating. Burial will follow at Birmingham Cemetery.
