Randy C. Maxwell, age 56, of Wakeman, died on Monday April 7, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 30, 1958 in Parkersburg, WV and has lived in Wakeman for the last ten years. He graduated from Brookside High School in Sheffield in 1976. Following high school he served in the US Marines. He worked at Ford in Avon and Brookpark for 25 years. He was a member of the Wakeman Eagles #4354 and the Elyria AMVETS Post #32. Randy was a sports fanatic, following all the Ohio sports teams. He was an avid golfer as well.

Randy is survived by his wife of 24 years Tamala (Solesky), his children Sheena (Jason) Lutz, Chase (Dena) Maxwell, all of Wakeman, siblings James "Steve" (Lynne) Maxwell, of Middleburg Heights, Daniel (Donna) Maxwell, of Wakeman, and Pam Schoolcraft, of Lorain, five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Juan (Cole) Maxwell.

Freinds may call on Wednesday April 9, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, where services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery.
