Carrie M. Hozalski, age 88, of Lorain, formerly of Camden Township, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family on September 9, 2013 following a long illness. She was born on November 25, 1924 in Rugby, TN and had lived in Camden Township for 45 years and with her daughter for the last seven years. Carrie enjoyed gardening and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her life. Carrie was a hard working farm wife who was devoted to her husband and family.

She is survived by her children Frank (JoAnn), of Camden Township, MaryAnn (Tom) Delache, of Ft. Myers, FL, Jane (Jim) Cooley, of Lorain, Cynthia Hozalski, of Elyria, David (Cindy), of Oberlin, James (Lynn), of Camden Township, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Michael I. Hozalski, her parents Joe and Catherine Ryski, and five siblings.

Services will be private. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Elyria.
