Anna "Sally" Williams

Anna L. "Sally" Williams (nee Konst), age 86, of Berlin Heights, passed away on Saturday May 26, 2012 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. She was born on November 5, 1925 in Bellevue, Ohio and has lived in the Berlin Heights area since 1951. She was a 1943 graduate of Bellevue High School.
She worked at GE in Bellevue until marriage. She worked as Berlin Heights School Secretary for 25 years. She was Girl Scout Troop 59 leader for 11 years, a Sunday School teacher for many years and volunteered many times while her children were in school. Sally and her husband Chuck spent 22 winters in Mesa Arizona and left many friends there. She was a current member of the Berlin Heights Echoes and enjoyed her friends at Cardiac Rehab at FRMC. Sally loved to shop, read, knit, work crossword puzzles and square dance.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Charles, who she married on June 22, 1947, her children, Diane Willis, of Berlin Heights, and Charles Williams, IV, of Tallmadge, OH, Grandchildren, Jake (Cinda) Willis, South Amherst, OH, Rebekah (Jeremy) Miller, Akron, OH, Charlie Williams, V. Phoenix, AZ, and Tara Williams, Mesa, AZ, Great Grandchildren, Ethan and Logan Willis, Travis and Reagan Louise Miller, a brother, Terry and Sisters-In-Law, Virginia, Dorothy and Ruth Konst and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Ruby Konst, brothers Frank, Vernon, and Ronald Konst and a sister-in-law Marjorie (Farver) Konst.
By her request, Sally is being cremated.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Family requests donations be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
